Taylor's great-grandfather purchased their 40-acre farm outside of Birmingham, Alabama in 1954.  He first established the farm as a Charolais cattle farm with just a few trail horses.  Over the years, the Charolais herd has been reduced while the Quarter Horse band continues to grow.  Taylor's family learned from their great-grandfather that if you’re going to do something, do it right the first time. 

That is why TP Farms only purchases top quality Quarter Horse mares the first time to breed.  The farm focuses on breeding and raising top quality Reining Horses and Reining Cow Horses for future futurities. 

These are good times at TP Farms because the family is growing with two new babies on the way as well as two new foals.  They hope to venture into the Reining and Reining Cow Horse show rings in the very near future, and to be standing their own stallion within the next five years.
